Alongside the babies we serve each and every day, we work to support our communities through our ESG initiatives. Every department and each employee plays a role in these efforts.
We’ve planted one tree for every baby that’s benefited from our products.
We gave back to charitable organisations through our Prolacta Bioscience Foundation. Altogether, the Foundation has provided 90 non-profit grants since its founding in 2018
We maintain our track record of only having received 1 finding (2015) after audits in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022
We are committed to doing what’s right for the environment, which includes continually monitoring our operations to reuse, reduce and recycle. For example, we reuse the coolers that we ship donors’ breast milk in as well as the coolers that carry our products to customers around the world.
Along with our donors, we worked to reduce the number of plastic bags going into landfill. We did this by increasing the amount of breast milk our donors add to each milk donation bag.
Looking ahead, we’ll continue to plant more trees based on the number of patients who have benefited from our products.
Our employees genuinely care. So, we support their passions to actively help the communities we live and work in. Every year, each of our employees can take a day off to volunteer for the organisation of their choice. We also make sure to be a family friendly company.
The other major way we give back is through the Prolacta Bioscience Foundation. Founded in 2018, our foundation extends our mission into the community by funding non-profit organisations that promote the understanding of human health and development, empower parents and nurture our communities.
Not only have we set the highest standards in the human milk industry, we also continually look to what’s next. We do this globally, understanding the local regulations so that we can meet or exceed them to ensure we are operating in the best interest of our stakeholders.
Beyond our products, we understand the importance of protecting data and privacy. Every year we conduct cybersecurity audits using the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity framework. Our Privacy Officer also ensures we are current with the latest requirements, as well as what will be required in the future.
