Meet Donor Angie - An Amazing Mom To 5 Kids

Angie M's Donor Story

"My name is Angie and I am a stay at home mom with five kids, my oldest being 17. I also have two adopted children, ages 10 and 9, that have been with me since birth. My two youngest are 3 and 11 months. My biggest obstacle as a mother is juggling everyone's schedules. Between sports for my older children and breastfeeding/pumping for the younger ones, it's always a balancing act. Nursing and pumping is a full time job in itself. It hasn't always been easy but I am determined to make sure my babies get the best. My goal is to get to two years with my youngest. As we approach her first birthday, I don't see any end in sight which is fine with me. I am so blessed to be able to be a [breast milk] donor. When I adopted my two children, I was not able to get them breast milk. Now I am able to not only donate to Tiny Treasures, but also donated to many other families that couldn't produce enough milk. It's such a great feeling to help other babies! If you're just starting your journey as a donor, congratulations! You're doing a great thing! Best advice I can give is to pump on a schedule. Once I found my schedule, everything else fell into place and I had more than enough to feed not only my little one but many others."
