"I'm Kirsten, I'm married to my best friend Joseph and we have a beautiful 9 month old daughter named Emma. The biggest and only obstacle I had to overcome was depression right after having my baby girl. It didn't last long but it was awful. I didn't feel like myself.
My proudest donor milestone has been able to see the look on mom's faces when I donate extra breast milk. Just remember it's hard to feed a baby.
It takes a lot of work to keep and create a breast milk supply. It can be a struggle at times and is time consuming.
But premature babies spend a lot of time struggling in the hospital so it's a great mission to help."
