Donor Stories
Quick facts:
“My husband and I have been married for 10 years, and we have two kids, Claire, 3, and Ruth, 16 months. Thanks to my compensation from donation, I recently transitioned from working at a financial institution to being a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy reading, hiking, cleaning, and organizing.
After Claire was born, I had a large oversupply of breastmilk and was able to feed her breast milk up until she turned 2 thanks to my freezer stash. Ruth is our latest baby, and I wanted to savor this journey as long as possible. One day, my husband said, ‘Why don’t you look into Tiny Treasures?’ As it turns out, he had been googling ‘Ways to help my wife with her oversupply’ and found this opportunity.
Milk donation has been a life-changing experience. I truly enjoy pumping and being able to do so while supporting my family financially and helping fragile babies has been very rewarding. I have made many friends in the Tiny Treasures community. I have been exclusively pumping for 16 months and just sent my 34th cooler. There’s no end in sight!
My advice to new donors: Be open and honest with your Donor Specialist when it comes to your routine or any questions or concerns you might have. They carry a wealth of knowledge and love supporting donors. Tiny Treasures isn’t just a community – it’s a family.”
