U.S. News & World Report Identifies Top Children’s Hospitals in the Country
U.S. News & World Report recently released their annual rankings for pediatric hospitals. Prolacta Bioscience is proud to provide standardized human milk based products to some of the top Neonatology departments in the country.
Congratulations to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford for their designation among the top ten hospitals for excellence in neonatology.
Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, which also offers Prolacta’s products, made the honor roll for children’s hospitals this year. The hospitals were chosen based on a survey of pediatric specialists asking where they would send the sickest infants and children.
These hospitals boast doctors who can operate expertly on the tiny heart of a newborn, defeat life-threatening cases of childhood leukemia, and help severely underweight preemies thrive. The facilities also provide the highest level of professional nursing practice in providing such extraordinary supportive care to these vulnerable infants.
The top ten hospitals in neonatology includes:
- Boston Children’s Hospital
- Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland
- St. Louis Children's Hospital at Washington University
- Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
- Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus
- New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley-Komansky Children's Hospital
- Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford
- Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
- Children’s Hospital Colorado
- Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
At Prolacta Bioscience, we are proud to be part of the solution, helping the tiniest micro preemies get access to the 100% human breast milk diet they need. Human breast milk has been shown in clinical research to help babies resist infections and decrease the incidence of serious diseases such as NEC. We are committed to providing a safe, standardized, steady supply of 100% human milk nutrition for premature infants. We applaud these hospitals for choosing to provide the infants in their care with the best nutrition available. We also congratulate all of the medical centers in the 50 top-ranked neonatal centers for their dedication to helping newborns survive.
