Donor Stories
"I'm Elizabeth, my husband is Dave. We have two children: Caleb who is 3 and Thomas who just turned 8 months on Mother's Day. We live in Kansas and have been a donor to Tiny Treasures Milk Bank since March of 2016. Previously we had been donating to a local mom. Our biggest obstacle this time with breastfeeding was that Thomas was born with a lip tie. It caused him to have trouble latching and he would get very upset when trying to nurse. It was corrected at 10 weeks old. Since I only get an extra 10-15 oz on top of what he needs a day, I would say my biggest milestone was when I donated 1,000 oz. As of date, I have donated 1,651 oz between Tiny Treasures and the local mom. With another 350 oz ready to go! I can't wait to reach 2000 oz!"
